Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for Denton County

The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Denton County until 5:00 PM this afternoon. Areas in the watch could see storms produce large hail (Greater than 1 inch in diameter) and damaging winds (Greater than 70 mph). If your area receives a warning please go indoors to a permanent structure and stay away from windows and glass.
